During the first five days of owning your vehicle, if you become dissatisfied with it, you may exchange it for one of equal or greater value. You will have to pay applicable taxes, title processing fees and any difference in price. The vehicle must be returned within the first five days or 500 miles of taking delivery, in the same condition in which it was delivered.

Inspected, Certified and Warranted
Every pre-owned vehicle offered at Schaefer & Strohminger locations is CarSmart Certified. The CarSmart certifications means the vehicle has passed both the CarSmart inspection and the Maryland State Inspection. It also means the vehicle is covered by a 90 Day/3,000 mile warranty (see details below). The CarSmart inspection is a rigorous 128-point test of all the vehicle's major systems.

Peace of Mind
After a $50 deductible, Schaefer & Strohminger pays 100 percent of both labor and parts for any covered system that fails during the warranty period, which is three months or 3,000 miles. Ask your Schaefer & Strohminger sales professional for a copy of the warranty for a full explanation of coverage, exclusions and our repair obligations.


SYSTEMS COVERED:
Engine: All lubricated parts, in-take manifolds, engine block, cylinder heads, rotary engine housing, ring gear, fuel pump and water pump.
Transmission: Automatic transmission case and all internal parts and torque converter. Manual transmission case and all internal parts.
Drive Axle: Axle housing and internal parts, axle shafts, output shafts, universal joints and constant velocity joints.
Brakes: Master cylinder, power booster, wheel cylinders, calipers and hydraulic lines and fittings.
Steering: Steering gear housing and all internal parts, power steering pump, valve body and piston rack.
Electrical: Alternator, generator and starter.

Every CarSmart used vehicle has a clearly displayed window sticker indication the options, warranty status, selling price and CarFax history. CarFax is a national service that makes certain the pre-owned vehicle does not have a history of the following: flood damage, fire damage, major accidents, odometer fraud, Lemon Law violation, unanswered recall.
